Help With 4 axis MasterCam And FX10 can someone tell me why when we make a simple 4 axis program in mastercam with two 1 inch holes three inches apart at a 7.125 dree. angle. It looks good in mastercam but when we run it on the FX10 is turns out eggshaped. thanks justin |

| Try to break both the upper and lower arcs in half so that all arcs are 180° segments... Somehow this gets MC to post the code correctly. I've had the same problem with our Fanuc WEDM. It's not the machines or the post processor... Just a MC bug... |

Does your machine use incramental programing in uv axis? example short line segments to create an arc? Mitsubishi do not use I's and J's to create arc. I have tried to break the program the circle into four sections and using by branch command, it looks not right on screen so I did not run it. thanks for your help. |
