post processor

hi I,m hoping some can give me some advice, I,m based in Germany and looking to buy a cheap CNC router, either a table or pod & bar machine, I don,t want to spend a fortune, 10-15k euros. I want to be able to use Mastercam with the machine which I have experiance with in conjunction with Solidworks. I have been offered a few good, cheap and can been seen working older machines, the first is a SCM Routmat2 using the NUM750 controller, this is a very good condition machine and I have seen a video of it working, although I haven,t been to see it yet. The only problem with it is finding a Mastercam post processor to use with it. My question is do such post processor exsit for these older machines? if so where do I get one? I have a file with about 30 different Mastercam processors but will any work with this machine? or is it a process of trial and error until one works. The other machine which I have been offered is a MAKA 552 from 1992, all the dealer could tell me was that it has a "Heckler & Koch 785" control system. Again the same question, can I get a Mastercam post processor to work with this machine? Any advice most welcome.
Regards Richard.

I think your best bet is to contact a Mastercam dealer and explain to them the situaton and see if there is one available.I doubt you will find anyone to give you one for free so be prepared to buy one. They may have to develop one and that isnt cheap. You could possibly find somone that will work with you to edit one to work.Best of luck.

Never see NUM750 or working with one, so I don't know what the code look like. If it's G and M code than you don't have to spend money with post..... you can use Gernetic post Mastercam provide and modify it. And if the code have unit pattern, you can change it after post with excel or spreedsheet.

If you can get a copy of a program for the machine you are going to buy, then we can suggest a post file to begin with, and then show you or help you with modifications to make it work the way you want.
In any case, you will need to post a copy of YOUR post-processor file so we can help.
We will NOT give you a post file.
