| I have a very wierd problem. I've made some toolpaths in MR2 and it calculated speeds and feeds that seemed very reasonable (I was cutting plastic, used the material called "Plastic - ABS"; the tool was 6.2mm 2-flute HSS endmill; calculated RPM turned out to be approx. 9000, feed - approx. 1500mm/min). I've made some actual cutting and everything worked fine. So far so good. Now, the same part and the same tool, but loaded in MR4, give me the following: speed 2300 RPM, feed 370 mm/min. I do NOT change tool parameters! I just recalculated the speeds (that is, selected the tool). Can anybody explain me what's going on there? |

| goto the box where you select your material and right click on the material you select and click on edit matl and change the sfm to a higher number and that will make the rpm calculation higher and the feed rate can be edited too if needed, when ur done save the matl to the library |
