using mastercam to engrave

im using mastercam x to add text to a part. everytime i try to verify i dont get anything. can anybody help

I'm not sure since I don't see the verify. How big the tool?

the majority of the time when i can not see a tool during backplot it is in the design of the tool or a parameter im asking it to do that wont calculate.

if you don't see anything in verify than check your toolpath parameters. you may be above your plane which will not show you any results in verify

A couple things to check and/or try.

1. Check your stock setup to make sure it is correct.
2. Check your planes for the operation(s) to make sure they are correct.
3. Check to see if you have Z Stock to leave added.
4. Try changing the depth of cut to something ridiculous to see if you get any results.

I'm guessing it's one of the above.
