What software are you using to control your mill?
Hi,
Would like to know how I can make the post not to output degrees as many as 6000 degrees,
When I want to machine a simple wood spindle, I can get as much as 10000 degrees and some time, even more.
This is not critical if I made only one pass but if I have to do multiple passes, the rotary have to rewind to start at 0 degree which take a lot of time.
I use MC X4.
I have looked at machine def and Control def and can't find what I can change to make it work. I have saved a copy of the Generic mill def and worked on a copy but with no luck.
The tool path I work with most of the time is Contour tool path.
I have not tried to modify the post since I don't know nothing about that.
Thanks for any help.
Jeff

Hi, I'm using Mach3.
I've tried some adjustment in the post without success, all related to the 4th axis, also tries in machine definition, no luck.
Thanks for the reply.
Jeff
There is a mach 3 post on the net some where.I think thats what I use when using the A axis. Its that or the mfpan or somethnig. I think there are are about 4 changes in Mach that you can do and I knwo there are some in the post that you can change as well. I will have a look to see how I have things set. I will get back to you.
