Need Help!- C Hooks

I know that Mastercam has a folder full of C hooks.What are they? How and when should i use one of these? Thanks.

I have x3 and mine was in the mcamx folder on my C: drive.

C-hook is like a macro program, you pick on a program you like to play and they will ask ...blah blah... then done. For example, there is one program sedign to draw gears, and your draw gear quite often at your job then C-hook come handy like one gear is require 20 teeth with 15in dia. and the next one is 40 teeth with 40in dia......... seat there and draw it is pain. with C-hook you can draw in few minutes.

There are many Chooks, another is to create a flat, 2D contour outline of surfaces.
