That might not be possible, since the programs might be sharing files, and during the install, they get replaced. As such, you get errors....

One way to do this, would be to use VMware....just install another instance of windows ONTOP of windows, and install each package there....

it will be like two different machines on one....you can then share folders across etc....works quite well.

you probably have to install 91. first with all the patches, then x4 and then the two updates.

    i run 9.1 X2, X3 & X4 Mu2 all on the same system with no problems
If you can ENVISION it I can make it

We had problems with this as well when we upgraded to X4. With X4 you need to have ALL previous version off the computer as it does not recognize files like it use to, such as a previous config file and such. Never had a problem with it pior to this upgrade and we have had all the previous versions.

    mastercam 9.1 & x4mru2

    Hi to you all,
as I promised I am back... but alas with more questions then answers, first thing first - it does work - the mastercam 9.1 can work besides the x4mu2. actually I knew it because we did worked like this a month ago...

The problems started after a few Trojans and other melicius programs has been able to penetrate our "defenses".
so we have decided to backup everything and to start from scratch.

Unfurtunatlly the mastercam 9.1 and x4mu2 did not worked together after a clean install. eventually I have figure that the problem lies in the driver of the net hasp, somehow, the windows system(winxp sp3) is taking the newest driver in the system every time you restart(although an enrollment was made - by the install and manually). a fresh install of the oldest hasp driver is needed every time you turn on your computer, in order that mastercam 9.1 to work. but here does not lies my real problem... the verify mechanism in 9.1 does not work and i am baffled with it.... HELP ME p l e a s e.

    thank you all...

Sorry I wish I would checked in earler to answer your issue. when doing a clean install of Win XP and SP2, as of SP2 this messed up the drivers as you found just got this tech call on Friday. they wanted me to come down and I new this could be done on the phone.
you need to go to www.mastercam.com/support/downloads/misc and the last drivers are for V9 download and run you will be all good.

You should not have to run these drivers every time.once should do it , as you said there lies another issue.

As for Verify what do you have for a video card and if you have X4 why are you playing with V9?

The real question is ... Why are you still using V9 if you have (and are presumably using) X4?

Maybe if I have a license for X4 and 9.1, and am contracting out for customers who have in one case an X4 license, and in another case a 9.1 license....and they need the ability to edit or change what I send within the program level they are licensed with?

I still open up 9.1 to help someone limited to that level.
