    2D POCKETING

I am using X3 and would love to know how to make my endmill enter a pocket a specific location where there is already a thru hole so that I do not have to ramp or plunge into solid, thanks in advance

Chain the point where your thru hole is first.

Chain your Contour like you usually do.

Under Lead In / Lead Out check the box that says Use Entry Point. If you want your endmill to exit at the same point check the box that says Use Exit Point.
