Was it wrong for me to install X4 if I didn't uninstall X3? Or any of the Maintenance Updates for X4? Could that have caused some recent problems I had with translating/rotating solids? A co-worker said he read it somewhere that X3 should be un-installed before installing the MU2 for X4? |

On another I have X2 MR2 and X4. I don't use the migration tools that a new installation offers me as I don't trust them based on what I've read other users state elsewhere. I and others have experienced the same kind of data loss you have experienced. I've experienced it when only one version of Mastercam is installed. |

| Shouldn't make a difference. The only problem you might have is.. where is your post, Mach def and control def files? You dont really want your X4 pointing to a post that's in X3 sub folder. That can get messy. But it shouldn't effect your Solid modeling. Mike Mattera
