Hi - does anyone know if you can do special 3d grading operations on a mold or prototype in mastercam? we grade shoe sole molds so the grading is not simply scaling x y and z, it involves holding zones and modifying user defined zones with different parameters plus making muliple mold sizes by making one grading operation. Is it best to try and grade the mold or prototype in the 3D CAD system and then just to generate toolpaths? does anyone have any ideas?  |

| Shoe molds are VERY specialized. If your CAD system supports it, do it in CAD. Mike Mattera
