I have a bastard thread i.d. 3.836 -12 .I need to know how to draw a thread mill it is an Advent thread mill diameter .97 with 1.5 length of cut. can someone show me how to draw this tool???Iam using Mastercam X4 but x3 or even v9 |

| you only need to draw half the tool then save it as mcx file. then when creating a custom tool select from file and pick the mcx file. there should be a directory with some custom tools in it allready, that is where i store my tool files.

I found that funny for some reason ![]() I guess that would eliminate the confusion that follows when you draw a tool that looks completely different than the one you are drawing.
