Newbie- At home training

My newest CNC operator is very interested in learning Mastercam. Right now the company budget is tight for schooling. I have given him our X3 demo disk to practice at home on. Are there any resources out there for someone wanting to pick this up on there own in a home enviroment? I do allow him to use the seat at work for the simple things. I do not want to let this desire to learn fade. Any suggestions?

It's great that you want to support this desire to learn.

X4 functions very similarly to X3 but the X4 demo version has been improved to include "Home Learning" features. The files can actually be saved as *.emcx so your trainee can do more with a particular file over several days because of the saving. Of course you won't be able to use these files with the industrial hasp (for obvious reasons) but this could be a very helpful training tool.
