    Can mastercam x2 doing a direct finishing on cavity side??

    good day,
    Can anyone tell me whether mastercam x2 suitable for cavity side i.e remote control cavity direct finishing??how about the surface finish??is it ok??and another one can some tell the procedure for direct finish process??i)stock leave on roughing semi roughing and finishing?? I want to make a trial on for direct finish by using matercam x2..thanks

    i.e remote control cavity direct finishing??
    are you asking will it Automaticaly program a cavity for you? Not sure what you are asking to do. I have used Mastercam for close to 20years for mold making.

    Thank for response..i am newbie here and just using mastercam about 1 and half year... hope you can help because I just try on my remote control direct finish and i want to know how to control tool entry and exit especially in 3d programming..I have try hard to ensure tool did not up and down and causing chatter mark..
