| What type of work do you use MC for ? What version of MC do you have (i.e. V9, X2, etc) What are you currently licensed for ? (i.e. Mill level 3, lathe, solids, wire, etc...) I run a seat with Mill3 and solids. The company also has 2 other seats of Mill1 and one of those also has wire. We make lots of complicated 3-D toolpaths for injection mold components and electrodes. For us maintenance is a must-have. The speed enhancements alone in X4 (now that some of the toolpaths support multi-threaded processing) are dramatic enough to justify this year's maintenance bill. We keep all 3 seats on current maintenance and I wouldn't want it any other way. |
