v9 and x3 together

I have mastercam version 9 installed on my workshop pc. I just installed mastercam x3 to run alongside it. The install went ok but I can't run the x3 software. When I click the desktop icon I get an error message saying "no sim found". Also version 9 stopped working but I seem to have fixed that ok. Can these two programs run side by side on the same pc. Or do I need a different sim?

mc3 is a stand along setup with its own sim card

Version 9 and X3 should not interfere with eachother and will run on the same hasp.

Your Mastercam reseller should be able to help with this.

I think I recall that people had trouble with newer versions if they installed an older version after the new version was installed. Therefore in your case you'd want to install V9 first then X3.
