How do I draw a line tangent to two arcs in X2-X4?

I'm convinced there is such a simple answer to my question, I'll be embarrassed to find out how dumb I really am.... it's old age.*

In X2 or X4, how do a draw a line tangent to two arcs?

I love V9 dearly because it has keyboard commands. To accomplish the above, I use; CLT2 from the main menu.....Simple huh?

To put it mildly, I don't like the fact the new MC's don't have keystroke commands.

Thanks guys.

Dugg, for starters there are key strok commands as I use them everyday.
Now to create line Tangent to two arcs use the key strocks of Alt,C,L,E then make sure that the option in Create line Endpoints is puched in then just high light one Arc then get close to the other when it high lights pick it to and you will get what you want. do you want to see a short video on how to do this?

Excellent Video.

I just started a new job today and the guy showing me the ropes with Mastercam kept telling me you just use Quadrant to draw a line from one circle to the next and I knew there had to be a more precise way to get tangent to two circle.

Thank you..
