controling an air balst

dont know if this should be in the general section or the post section... so here goes.. (move if need be pls).

we have an air blast valve on our haas tm1 and control it by M54/M64 (i think its them, not at machine atm).

would like to able to set it in the drop down boxes on the coolant parm page,
ie; change the 'mist' option to 'air' and have it insert the correct code for on/off in the post.
or set it as a custom function (maybe)?

is this possible?

if so, how do i change/set mastercam to insert the correct code in the correct positions in the generic haas 4X mill post?
using X3 at the moment, but upgrading to X4 before the end of the year.

at the moment we are hand editing for the tools we want to have the air blast on.

It should be as simple as opening the machine definition (MD) and pressing the "edit general machine parameters" button and then modifying the "mist" label and setting the code as needed...

I think your results may vary depending upon how things are set up but try this and let me know...
