| Subs, -Your post must be sub enabled -not be a surfacing or multi-axis toolpath -repeated at more than 1 depth -multipasses are subbed, only if depths also is used -only that operation that has subs turned on, will be subbed If your post is sub enabled, turning on sub-output is through the "depths" button in "2D/3D contour", also absolute or incremental output can be chosen, IMO , start with absolute as you and the operators can follow the code easier. Fanucs should output the call statement as "M98 P1001" for the 1st call-up and the actual sub is placed after the end of the program, M2/M30 line as O1001 ending with M99 Okumas use CALL O1001 as the call-up statement, and the sub-routine named as O1001, ending with RTS not sure about others. You can of course, modify the program manually ....Ha Ha..........ha |

| I'm using mastercam X3 level1. The post I'm using is mpsubrep. It took me a long time to figure out how to update this post for vervion X3. Now the post is working but it's not creating any sub programs. I'm hoping I don't have to modify the program manually mastercam should do all that for me. I don't see the depth option, could I be looking in the wrong place or maybe this version doesn't have that option. |
