Mazak with 100% X2

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone would mind pointing me in the correct direction about what would be a good starting point to build a mazak post. I am not asking for a post but just a good starting point to config one. But if you toss one to me i wont say no lol.

Ok new question!! Does anyone know if a EIA program will allow tool changes in one program. Rather then a bunch of sub programs for each tool.

Just a example of 2 tools running in a mazak would be fine with me.

Yes you can have multiple tool changes in 1 program ...in mastercam X2 if you are getting a sub for each tool .....Try this......before posting RIGHT click in the operations manager on the white area select Edit Operations then select Change NC file name ......it will post all tools in 1 file .......it is ok if you name it the same as it was just as long as you go thru these steps ...Then post the file

Now I have found i don't have to sub a G code program in a mazatrol i can just use full EIA to run a mazak. I am sure i didn't explain what i was getting at. Now i know what to do thanks to everyones help here and in the mazak thread.
