Need Help!- mastercam x3 not liking the background colors

hi can anybody tell me how to change the color from blue to black in mastercam x3 i want to make it look like v9

Goto Menu bar, click settings then configuration. On the left of the System config window that pops up there is a selection for colors. Click it and you will see all the various selections. Scroll down to Graphics background color, select it and then select the black pallet color chip. There is also a drop down menu for background graduation below the indivdual entries, make sure it reads none. Click the green OK check and OK to save to your config file. See the backup precaution below.

Don't know if V7 was the same color pallet as V9 but if so the easist way to change the entire pallet more to your liking would be Alt+C (User App) then select V7Colors.dll and click OK. It will set the entire pallet to 16 colors. This modifies the current config file as well so the same backup precaution applies.

You should probably backup the config file you are messing with 1st. The double disk icon on the bottom left of the sys config window is a save as function so you can save as a new config before making changes and then to the right of that make sure that the default startup config is the one you modify.
