Does anyone know what to customize so that I can select an entity or whatever and not having to scroll or move to make that entity lighten up?
I had that figured out in the past but now my PC is fresh and forgot how to change. Had it something to do with grachic card?

If you are using X3 make sure you have MU1 loaded as well. Highlighting the way you describe is/was a known bug without MU1.

Also could be your video card. Do you have "disable hardware acceleration" checked in your config?
