I am very new to mastercam, i got version 9, and was wondering if i can make an actual blueprint with dimensions and notes and such. i bought a couple of books about lathe and mill, i also got design and wire also. I fit can be explained i would appreciate it, or if i can be reffered to a website that would be great. also was wondering where i could go to get some training on mastercam thanks |

| Yes, you can make a blueprint. Select create/drafting to dimension your part. If you have the solids option you can select solids/next menu/layout and pick your solid body, the system will make a three of four view drawing (ANSI or ISO) and lay it out into a blueprint format. We offer Mastercam Training Online for version X and above. If you need version 9 training try Tips for Manufacturing you can also head to eBay and search for Mastercam, you can sometimes find deals even on the two options I just mentioned. |

Hi, if you are going to use mc for bp's I suggest you get the gd&t chook from the emastercam forum. it is a free download from verisurf. it has many symbols for dimensioning and tolerancing. a pain to do without it. and the price is right. billy |
