Rotating part along the z-axis

Seems like a simple enough task but I can't figure it out.

My parts face is on the z and x axis and i need to get it to the x and y.

Buy me a Beer?

I'll describe a method of moving the part
---if you want the method of creating a WCS, let us know---

If you want the RIGHT side of the part to be rotated to the TOP, it would have to be rotated, as you would look at it from the FRONT. ( OK so far ? )

To be able to rotate "around the Y axis", the C-plane (construction) must first be set to the FRONT plane

Method
- turn all levels on
- select C-plane=FRONT
- select all entities
- Xform-rotate and accept ( big green dot )
- popup dialogue appears ( input angle of +90 degrees ), the multi-direction arrow is for selecting the rotation point if different from the origin.
- accept

Gview TOP

The RH side of the part is now at the TOP
---don't forget to put C-plane back to top---
now Xform-translate to correct position

Aid assistant- try turning on, an inactive grid to be always visible to show C-plane and construction Z level
- alt-G ( grid dialog display )
- active grid=off
- visable grid=on
- spacing X.25 Y.25
- color 8
- size=1.5"
