| Wow..Thanks Cadcam...The new Mastercam dynamic Mill toolpath looks exactly like the 2D Surfcam Trumill and Volumill. It looks like the subscription based website for Volumill will be greatly impacted. I will presume that X5 will have dynamic 3D toolpathing capabilities if so Surfcam is indeed in trouble. Or could it be that this is a part of some long thought out technology buyout. Ooooppppss there I go assuming... Sorry... lol Thanks again for the link. |

| Many of the top end software suppliers buy third party modules so it could be that MC and SurfCam are buying from the same third party company. ![]() Of coarse I am assuming as well

Will do Count, I have a ton of material to write up over the next week or two, and the National Sales manager from Robb Jack will be sending me some specific materials on cutting speeds and feeds using the new dynamic toolpaths
Hi Jay, it was great meeting you at the show, absolutely yes, per our conversation we will be working together on the five axis offering, stay tuned folks. Meanwhile here is a writeup on Haas, as you can see, I was impressed by their offering. |
