I have been practicing at work with solids drawing in inventor and trying to import them into mc9 . but i do not get a clean import , it seams to be missing surface between the wire frame and when i try to import a step it ask me for a acess code? is the step feature something that is extra for the original software? someday i may get good at this stuff,

| Check the tolerance settings in both Inventor and MC. Yes, a step translator requires a code.

| I don't know the pricing for the step translator. It's an 'add-on' because the people that produce it charge for it, so most CAD/CAM software will either price it into their system, or leave it out and charge extra for it to offset the cost.
