| caveat: messing with machine definitions can be hazardous to the functions of mastercam. call your reseller if possible and make them walk you through this, so that if it goes wrong you have someone to yell at. this is for version X3. also i'm assuming you have the material saved into a library and all that expand your default machine group and select files on the files tab select the edit button this pops up the machine definition manager from the icons at the top select the control definition (it looks like a screen with two buttons) from the control topics window select operations defaults in the window on the lower right you should see machine group whatever the name is for your default machine expand the properties tab and select files up pops the familiar machine group manager select the tool settings tab pick your material click ok all the way back and out saying ok to all the save this questions. i think that will do it. |
