V8 Read File Question

Gentlemen, I have a question. I have V8 on two different computers.
At the top of the menu that opens when you File/Get shows Upfolder,New folder, and View across the top. On the other PC I show Upfolder,New,View and also a nice wireframe of the file I am about to choose.

How come there is a difference and how can I change to display the wireframe ???

View is used to show a "Window's Explorer" type selection window, where you can display the files as icons down to detail ( size , date, etc.)

The "image " you see is a screen dump of your last save , which is embedded within the .MC8 file, when preview is set.
If you want the image to be of the model, arrange your last view to how you want to see this part.

Bitmap is where the image is used as thumbnails ( this option will slow you down when selecting files, and puts a huge drain on your system )

One feature that is not explained anywhere in great detail is:

Mc8 and Mc9---Right click in the file window brings up a mouse menu, where you can load "Recent Files", there is another "create Mc8/9 Images", this puts more files in your MC8/9 directry AND really slows down your PC.
