i have a part that is machined on an angle plate,i have tried to use the surface boundary at the top and bottom of the part to trim the toolpaths within those parameters. i have tried it several different ways and it doesnt seem to be trimming the paths as the tool cuts air. any suggestions welcome thank you

| i have tried everything under the sun to trim these toolpaths,i did use the FBM function to create the toolpaths which i deleted and used a surface rough pocket toolpath to see if that would make a difference. the cycle time has decreased drastically but the tool still cuts air 3 inches above the part and 3 inches below it,i dont have enough room under the part for it to cut that deep. anyone have any suggestins for trimming toolpaths? thanks.

| thank you i got it had too create a projected boundary to use as geometry for trimming the toolpath along the top and bottom of the part seperately the way you pointed out seems easier way to achieve the same results i will try it next time. thank you tim
