im using mastercam x3 to program a haas tm-1. how do i tell mastercam not to use the A axis when generatin a tool path?

example:
T1 M6
G0 G90 G54 X6.1161 Y4.1248 A0. S5800 M3
G43 H1 Z.1 M8

G0 Z.1
M5
G91 G28 Z0. M9
G28 X0. Y0. A0.
M30
%

any help would be great. thank you

Go into the Machine definition and turn off the A axis.

I've tried, but have had no succsess. maybe im jus going about it wrong.

Open the .pst file with a text editor. Go all the way down to the bottom. About 1 page up from the bottom you'll find some numbered questions. Look for 164.

164 (something about rotary axis). If it's set to yes (or 1) set it to No (0).
