anyone an expert in "art" what about this tutorial book, is it worth 40 bucks? are there art tutorials that come with the software and are they any good? http://www.volumesdirect.com/detail.aspx?ID=3965 thanks  |

| The book is very helpful. I have reviewed the earlier version that are office had and it covered allot of info. are you trying to do some thing and not working right? Also go here for some free videos on art. http://www.streamingteacher.com/home/index.aspx

no, just want to learn it as a tool to compliment my other 3d modeling which can't really produce "art". I'm curious how difficult or easy it is and what the limitations are to produce solids like they show in the ads. i've used solid edge and rhino, currently programming with edgecam. thanks, i'll check out the videos |

| Art is not a solid modeler. It's a free form design tool. It's for organic shapes. But it is very cool to play with. Mike Mattera
