Is anyone here familier with Mastercam Lathe? I have Mastercam Mill 3 with solids and love it! I'm using Partmaker for my lathes and can't stand it!! It's horrible to work with! Is Mastercam Lathe as good as Mill? |

| Are you using Partmaker because you are programming Swiss style Lathes. What type of lathes are you programming for?

| I'm using partmaker to program all Haas lathes (TL-1 and SL-20). Usually I'm doing one off parts or very short runs. Partmaker is very tedious and quirky. I'm constantly having to manipulate it to get what I want. Everyone in my shop has become familiar with Mastercam and found it very easy to use for milling, but I'm the only one who can program the lathes. Is Mastercam lathe just as simple or similar to use as Mastercam mill? Basically I want someone else besides me to help program the lathes. |

| I think you should look into Lathe for MC for the machines you are doing its a great fit. I was just help a customer last night with a post for his TL-1 and a little programming. As the local dealer to come by and show it to you. you can add it to the MC seat you all ready have at a discount. Enough of the sales side it has allot of the tools you like in MC Mill. but has one thing Mill does not have Yet is Stock definition this great tool.

| I've always thought Mastercam Lathe was very easy to use. They dont cut it on the Swiss type (yet), but for regular 2 axis, C axis & Y axis, Mastercam does a great job. Mike Mattera
