I am pretty sure this is impossible with any software.

Your options include:

1. Re-draw the part using the dimensions from the .pdf

2. Track down the document's original creator and ask them to export it in a format that is usable by CAD/CAM packages such as .dwg, .dxf, .igs, etc...

I am just backing up Matt. A pdf is made to be uneditable, and sometimes uncopyable. It contains no information for a CAD/CAM to read. If you are using MasterCAM then this part or one very similar, or even one more complicated should be very easy to redraw. If you can have the designer resend it to you then I would recommend an iges file. Dwg will work but there is always some manipulations that must take place to use it in MasterCAM.

A .pdf file is not a Cad geometry file.

You should always try to get the file as close to the source as possible. Meaning... If they use Autocad, get the DWG or DXF file. If they use Solidworks get the .sldprt file. If they're using Inventor get the .ipt file. Someone sent you a .pdf as a generic way to send a "picture" of the part.

Your choices are to...
1) re-draw the part based on the information in the .pdf file.
2) get a real cad file.
3) convert it to a .jpg of .bmp "picture" file and use the ras2vec converter.

NOTE: this type of a conversion is NOT accurate.
