Hi, I am new to using the surface options on mastercam x2 and wanted to know if anyone could help me with the trimming surface option. On the file I attached there is a notch on the part that I wanted to 3d mill with the finish surface toolpath. I wanted to trim the surface around the outside of the notched area so I can start my toolpath there. Can this be done ? | Use a tool boundary and you do not have to trim the surfaces. create a Rectangle for example above the area you want to cut and pick this as a boundary.
