What version of MC are you using? This will assist others in helping you with your problem.

Select all the programs you want to post.
Now right click and go to Change NC name give it a name or except what is there and then post. this will group those ops together.

Yeah I'm making the transition over to X2mr2. Not so guru now, but soon I will master X. Lots of new stuff in X - I like it so far, but I am always looking for things to work like V9. Maybe just time to break old habits, and build new ones.

The Guru Title comes with experience, which you have more than enough of, LOL. You will master X in a short period of time. Then you can develop new habits. Hopefully these new habits are as good as the ones you developed in V9.

Toby -
That's what made me wait so long to move to X. I can program 15 different jobs in a couple days with V9.1, but X2 is so new to me I'd be hurting the company with my learning curve with X2. I'll learn at home - off the clock -no pressure. When I can get fast and accurate with X2, then I'll set-up X2mr2 at work.
BTW the senior programmer still uses V7.2. Seems as old as DOS to me. I can't wait until V9.1 seems old to me.

Only 3 years here at R&D Engineering. I just left a competitor (won't name any names) to come to this job. I think it was a good call because my previous employers' company was just aquired by the TSI group.

I saw things going poorly for this company, as the shop floor was always in chaos. Every time a corrective action was made, someone undermined the process of bringing order to the shop. I enjoy the challenge when people try to make things work, but when nobody cares as long as they can pass the buck, no good can come of that environment. So I left "camp runamok" as the saying goes. Things are going very well here.

Mastercamguru what is your handle or screen name over at the other board?
As for making the change just keep playing and reading the two boards you will get it.
Also review the V9toXfuncations PDF found in the Documentation folder.
