Imagine a pocket shapped like a lower case g without the circular island in the middle. The tail of the g is the same width as the cutter. Any tips on how to get the pocket tool to cut down into the narrow tail? Another way of asking the question is how would I program a closed end slot on imported 3D geometry where the slot is the same width as the cutter? Thanks folks... |

| Another way is to create a curve down the center of the tail. Turn the compensation type to OFF. Then Mcam doesn't care what size tool you are using. That's how I program letter engraving, by using the letter as a centerline contour.
