| I have been actively using X3 from the end of the beta cycle thru now. I am not aware of any bugs that are serious enough to keep anybody from using it productively. You're asking about FBR... Not sure what you mean... Maybe you mean Feature Based Machining ? If so, I can't comment because I don't use it. |

| I'm not certain that I am 100% correct on this, but....since MasterCam is now a full fledged Gold Partner with SolidWorks, the FBR (Feature Based Recognition) only works within a SolidWorks Model. To further define "Gold Partner", it means that you no longer work within MC to create your toolpaths, rather MC works from inside SW and you never leave your SW model. At a former employer we used CamWorks, which has been a Gold Partner for 10 years now. It worked the same way with feature recognition. |

| I have been progamming with X3 sence the beta 3 was out and cutting part. If you are refering to the Feature Based Machining what is your questions. Sorry toons good try but not all there. we will be going to release a MC that runs inside of SW soon. but it does work inside of me. review picture and works with all sold based models. with the FBM drill you can get more control if you have a SW file and have SW on the computer.

MC inside SW. ![]() At least I think it is called Mastercam News, maybe Cimquest News, or CNC Software News. It was too long ago to remember, must be getting old ![]() A really neat feature they added is the Turbine Machining Module. It must be NICE!!!! Ok I officially have too many subscriptions to remember
