C-Axis Surfacing Question

need some help on a c axis contour on a daewoo

attached are my cutting parameters and the prog mcx2 posts out, the lathe is running this program at 2.00 ipm and it is taking forever, what do i have set wrong?

rotary axis is set to use the c axis

It looks to me that your Feed Rate is 2000 IPM not 2 IPM. G98 is the command for Inches Per Minute (G99 is Inches Per Revolution) for Lathes. I have only dabbled a bit in X3 none in X2 but the Feed and Speed Overides should take care of this. The settings are in the Tool Path Parameters Tab, or at least they should be.

CADCAM will definitely correct me if I'm wrong.

Well CAD/CAM, shed some light because this has me a bit confused.

What you are getting with these speeds is called inverse time trying to a line the rotary with the liner moves and keep them in relation.
I am not sure of the correct code for inverse time on the Daewoo. check there book and see what codes they have for inverse time. mill g93 ,g98.

Just for possible future reference, do you know the Formula for Inverse Time (Rotary C Axis)? LOL one never knows when they will need it and it is always best to be armed with knowledge.

kinda figured that was the problem, talking to Daewoo to fix it
