| Getting closer but got another Q. Cadcam, as you program the profile, you will notice that tight radius on each side (actually no radius). I created short polar arcs and a tangent line to program on and clean up that area with a 3mm cutter. When I zoom in in verify, you can see where it is leaving a small divot on the ring part on exit of the part. I am using lead in/out. You can see where my created arc seems to be smoother than the part as the profile looks like line segments. Is this a problem with my file, is it worth worrying about, if so, can I repair my part without starting over? Maybe just a glitch in the software? I did create curves on all edges in another layer for 2D programming and that is what I used for the profile. |
