    NVIDIA Quadro FX1700 Video card

Is anyone running MC - X2 with an NVIDIA Quadro FX1700? If yes, how is it performing. We currently run NVIDIA GeForce 7650 GS and are experiencing bogging down when running verify and other graphics related issues.

FYI, the new X3 release has a dramatically improved verify as far as time is concerned. It looks the same as it always did but it was nearly 50% faster on my test.

Anyway, I do not know about the FX1700 but I run the FX1400 every day and I have no complaint with X2 or X3 using that card.

Have you tried getting the latest drivers directly from Nvidia's website for your 7650 ? Could make a very big difference...

If you try it, download the new driver, uninstall your current display driver, then on reboot when it "finds" the video card and wants to install the driver CANCEL, CANCEL, disable your antivirus, and then finally install the driver you downloaded.

    FX 1500

We use a Quadro FX 1500 in our box & work's great with X2 . As Matt stated use current driver's from Nvidia. I think we used the one for performance. Harold C.

I have one of the FX1700 and runes great with X2 and as stated X3 runs even faster.
Set the quadros to setting for Solid works for better performance.
