I took a look at the website for miniimum system requirements for Mastercam. "1.5 GHz 32-bit Intel®-compatible processor. 64-bit Intel®-compatible processors are supported" I am leaning towards Windows Vista I was wondering what the experience of forum users with AMD, Centrino, Celeron etc Is there anythinng I should definatelly stay away from?    |

| I'm running MasterCamX on a 2 year old T41 Thinkpad with 1.6 Ghz & 1 Gig of RAM. It runs very smoothly. Hope this helped, fozzie |

| stay away from Celeron as they are low of the math processor for Mastercam. the other in most cases will do. but make sure to look at video as I say to stay away from integrated video. you want separate video. I suggest not using Vista unless you are running MCX2 mr2 or higher.X3 runs better in vista then X2 mr2.

| Also min of 1 gig of ram in XP and min of 2 gigs in vista.
