Hey Tim, thats what I have been doing and it works awesome. i was just hoping there would be an alternative method that would not have me manually enter these parameters for each tool. I wanted this because i forgot to set depth cuts on my last part, ran it, stepped four feet away, and destroyed a 60 dollar endmill and had to retram my mill, which is a pita.

I think MC only "picks up" the values when you select the tool. You might want to try selecting a different tool, then go back to the newly edited one and see if that picks up the values you want.

Yes david is right if you have an exsisting toolpath then changed the parameters you will have to reselect the tool for the values to take place

I would like to thank Steve publicly for his help. After a fresh OS install and then a MC install everything works like a charm. Thank you again
