| Hey Tim, thats what I have been doing and it works awesome. i was just hoping there would be an alternative method that would not have me manually enter these parameters for each tool. I wanted this because i forgot to set depth cuts on my last part, ran it, stepped four feet away, and destroyed a 60 dollar endmill and had to retram my mill, which is a pita. |

| I think MC only "picks up" the values when you select the tool. You might want to try selecting a different tool, then go back to the newly edited one and see if that picks up the values you want. |
