Sounds like your machine's problem not the program.

Try using the Filter to create fewer moves. Then your machine can digest the data better. The filter will make co-linear moves, a single move. It can also convert linear moves that form an arc, into a real G2/G3 arc. This reduces program size. Example: Instead of creating 1000 moves to make a 2" line, it makes 30 moves. Less data to process, your machine runs faster.

This is covered in greater detail in these Training CD's

Yes you do. The button is called "Total Tolerance" and contains the filter settings also.
Ratio 2:1
filter .0002

Check the boxes for...
One way Filtering
Create Arcs XY

It's the ratio for the value of the filter vs. the tolerance value.

Yes it's covered in great detail in my training CD's. As well as lots of 3D machining parameters and toolpath technique's.

thanks mike, i have one more question. after i rough out my pocket ( multi surface with radius on bottom ) i need to go deeper with a smaller rougher to clear out more materail becuse rougher leaves too much for finishing tool. what function do i use there, i cant use pocket because its gonna start at the top where marterial is gone and i still need to ramp. ( v9 by the way) thank you for your help.

ps. waiting for your surface disk on ebay.

You can use cut depths in rough pocket to start lower and start at the bottom. review picture.

I bought your CD's but have been struggling to get decent finishes on final passes. Exactly what part of the CD should I watch to figure filtering and arcs out right? I am using X and have your v9 to X CD and the X 3D surfacing CD but I just can't get a good result on arcs. I can't find the part that explains filtering "in great detail". I am using 2:1 filtering with 0.0005 but I get a mix of facets and small arcs with occasional large (180 degree) arcs.
