hello i m cutting NITRONIC material i have to remove 1.063in. i m using 350 speed and feed is 20.0ipm.....but insert get dul after 4 pices so can soem help me what speed & feed i could use...i m using round insert wich has 6 corner ( sandvik insert) and 5insert percutter...thnx for help |

| Hi "Slow speeds, positive feeds and abundant resulphurized lubricant are essential to success in machining this alloy. Speeds and feeds similar to those employed with 316 or 317 stainless are appropriate here. All common machining practices can be used on this material. Chips will be tough and stringy and it is recommended that curlers or breakers are used. " regards
