Hi: We're running MC9 Lathe, and have encountered the following problem: We generated a parabolic profile (y=kx^2) in solidworks, which basically resembles a "bullet nose" of a projectile (a spline). Whe generated a .dxf of the part and imported into MC. MC9 converted this spline into a series of lines. The resulting profile looks faceted.(obviously). Other than drawing a new spline over the existing lines, is there a way to convert the imported entities into splines. I'd like to maintain the original profile that we generated in SolidWorks. thanks

| Thanks: I converted it to parasolids (.x.t), and it worked perfectly.I also created a new coordinate system, and used it to export the model. This ensured that the model was correctly aligned to the x,z zero when imported into MC. thanks
