What's wrong with this part?

I have a relatively simple file here that isn't cutting properly. I'm using a 1/2" cutter to do four operations: two pockets and two contours. The resulting product is a clamshell box.

When I run the "Verify", the part seems to be right but the actual part has a defect. The walls of the box should all be roughly .25 inches (.2431) but the bottom (on the x axis) winds up being far thinner... like .125!

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?

I attached the mcx file but I made the extension a .zip. Could you look at it (rename it to a .mcx first!)? Thanks!

edit: I added the .nc as a .txt file.

hualon,

Can you tell me the blank size and where the X Y Z zero is located. I will run it thru vericut and check it out.

Bottom left corner X-.25Y-.25

Stock is about X19.5 by Y11.5

BTW: I couldn't see the problem with a quick NC Plot and didn't look with Predator. Maybe you will see with your solid verification.

Toby,

When refering to a stock size there are three dims: L X W X D. D being the thickness of the material. Same goes for the X Y Z Zero location. I need the Z Zero too.

I'm pretty new to all of this as you can probably tell. I think that the problem might be in where I'm setting the zero for the y.
