I am trying to make a counterbored hole for a 8mm socket head cap screw. The hole drills on location, but when I try to pocket the hole for the counterbore, the y seems to start off center and when the pocket is complete, it is not centered with the drilled hole. What is going on? Thx Attached is the nc file with an example and a picture showing the problem. The pocketed hole is fine on the x, its the y that is off. |

| Hey Mike, I actually let the whole program run through and you are right, it came out just fine. It just looked off. When I actually put a screw through it it fit perfectly. Apparently I really need to get new glasses. Thank you for your efforts, and I guess I should probably get vericut or something similar. |

| pzzamakr1980, Glad I could help. Vericut is the best. I swear by it. It will catch mistakes that other programs just do not including Mastercam. For me it pays for itself because it prevents crashes. 3 axis verification is $7,000. There are others but they are not as good. |
