..........and go to each vise with the same tool, change tools and go to each vise and so on. I don't use MC, but some of the guys do, and I'll ask tomorrow. Someone will surely chime in with the answer though.

| kojack, depending on yourpost it works this way mics # 2 should 2 you will find this on the toolparameters page in v-9 then the box that says t/c planes go into there check the box that says work offset. 0= G54 1 = g55 2 =g56 etc.. again it depends on your post. Steve www.cad2cam.net

I know in MC9 you can go into parameters in the toolpath. Where you define the tool there is an Icon that says T/C plane. In here you can change the work offset in the box stating Plane(relative to WCS) set the number to 0=G54, 1=G55, 2= G56, etc. Copy your entire prameters and paste below, change the work offset to the one needed. I am still trying to learn MC X2 so I am sure it is close to the same process if you can find out when it is embedded in the stupid MC X2 icons. I am not a big fan of MC X2 yet. | Also review on thought in this help file on WCS for Version9. this includes a 28 page on the WCS and some sample files. one of them is on programming parts with two vices and offsets. Link for Zipped file. http://www.mastercam-cadcam.com/wcs.zip this is for V9 only.
