I'm creating a custom grooving tool and I get a error prior to generating the tool path stating "only 2 colors (cutting tool and holder) maybe used on custom tools. I'm doing everything correct using color #55 for the cutter and color #116 for the holder and placing the cutting edge on orgin. the tool imports into the tool liberary successfully and and shows up for selection whenever i'm setting up the grooving toolpath but it will not generate the toolpath.. thanks for all the help.. | Make sure your size is correct if not you will not see atoolpath I have had this happen before and it will not tell you. I'm guessinng this is your problem. steve lathe video www.cad2cam.net
