| it is data from a laser scan, a mesh. I can make it an .stl but it seems to be to much for it to handle. I also have as a point cloud. I was able to bring it in as an .iges but its just a mesh of triangles about 3,000,000 of them! There seems to be a divide between 3D modeling and cam, and this is what i'm trying to cross. SolidWorks seems to have an app that does this along with DelCAM's copyCAM, but would like to do it with masterCAM if I could. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks Tom |
