NOT break arc into lines

In my G-code arcs are actually made up of many little lines.

Can I set MCX2 to output arc segments or is that controlled in the postprocessor?

In the geometry make sure when you analyze the segment it is an arc if it isn't it will not generate an arc unless you use filter or recreate the arc using 3 points is the best way. If it is not your geometry, take a look at the control Def, Arc page.

The Control definition>Arc page has options for breaking circles into 90 and 180 degree arcs, nothing about breaking up arcs into a bazillion lines.

The help file was not help either.

your geometry is not an arc then it is a spline go to analyze entitiy properties and make sure it is not an arc. if it is not you will have to recreate it.

You can set it by checking a little box.I'll don't remember exactly where it is but I'll check at work tomorrow.

I have arcs, nurbbs, and lines.

But I took a second look at your previous post and the explanation in the help file.

This is what I was looking for, thanks.
